There is not much room to socially distance for the Rohingya in refugee camps. Everyone waits in long lines for water, food rations and other essential services. It will be a massive disaster for our community if the virus spread there.

Access to clean water is also an issue. Mobile hand-washing stations are being set up across the camp to encourage hand-washing, but it not enough to prevent the outbreak. Thanks to the youth who make it happened.
Rohingya refugees have been banned from using the internet and mobile phones since 2019. During a pandemic, people without access to such communications channels lose out on vital information needed for informed decision-making.
