Our Scholarship Program
Many requests we’ve been receiving are related to education and scholarships, particularly for the Rohingya children and teenagers, who have recently been displaced and took refuge in Bangladesh.
In the past few months, a lot of light has been shed on the refugee crisis in Bangladesh. Many countries and humanitarian NGOs have paid attention on their basic necessities such as food, shelter, and health.
Canadian Rohingya Development Initiative pays attention to the importance of integrating youth into society through education. Because there are some students who recently passed their high school and about to get admission to colleges and universities. Most importantly, Rohingya youth are hungry for education.
Our Scholarship Program enables underprivileged youth to continue their academic studies and attain an education that will be essential to their futures as well as to the future of their communities.
CRDI aims to support students through full and partial funding and university partnerships. Students pursue different degree levels and academic fields of study, and a growing number of alumni benefit from mentoring and professional development opportunities.
We appreciate your support.
